Oh god lol I'm trying to tell people on Rayman Pirate-Community that "bussin" isn't just "Gen Z slang" and why it shouldn't be used and, just like the convo about Rayman Redemption removing donut lips in the pirate designs, they're acting like people are just making a big deal about nothing.
I can see why black people get tired of the internet.
Even if they hate it, they need to rewrite that word and have Globox's English VA re-record. I'm not kidding. I can't play this game with my friends if there's going to be appropriation left and right. Like bro I know Rayman 2 and 3 had a racism problem, but you'd think they'd try a little harder in 2026.
In the meantime, I just might contact Steam to figure out how to cancel a pre-order and get my money back, because this is ridiculous. I feel kinda scammed. They shouldn't have waited so long to let cutscenes leak like this because honestly on principle this is a big dealbreaker for me.
